System management operational processes and procedures must reflect business policies, which must be communicated to operational staff. The management framework needs to reflect this focus.
Once the procedures are defined and accepted, product configuration, customization (if necessary) and testing will be performed. The test plan and criteria will be developed jointly with the customer. The products will be thoroughly tested for compliance against the developed procedures.
At every step of the effort, we intend to work closely with our customer’s managers, planners and administrators, and provide them with regular reports and feedback on the progress of our efforts.
Our approach will also provide training and proper skill transfer to the customer’s key management staff in the area of policy-based system management. This will enable the customer to manage and maintain its developed policies and procedures independently.
The customer’s key administrators will be trained on the technical and operational aspects of the products to enable them to operate, configure and support the products if the need arises.
