TEAM LEADER – SERVICE / SUPPORT DELIVERY

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate/Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years working experience in a leadership or team leader position .
  • Have a leadership spirit, self-disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Ability to demonstrate active & inclusive engagement to lead a team.
  • Ability to comprehend statistical data and make informed decisions.
  • The ability to multi-task, managing a varied workload, prioritising effectively and reacting quickly and calmly to changing circumstances.
  • A proactive and inclusive approach to delivering under pressure and being willing and able to assist others where needed.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Managing team within the office and remotely, providing support and guidance to help them continue to perform their roles, planning, monitoring and delegate.
  • Organise, lead and participate in team meetings and developing working relationships across your department.
  • Regularly review operational processes in your area and identify areas for improvement, supporting your teams through change.
  • Develop your staff ensuring they receive the appropriate training and support for their job role. You’ll take responsibility for your own learning and development with the support and guidance from BU Head.
  • Promote and implement diversity and equality of opportunity in all areas of work supporting initiatives within the organisation.
  • Attending the weekly Senior Management Review (SMR) meeting to report on activities and issues of the team.
  • You may be asked to undertake ad-hoc projects as agreed with BU Head and Service Delivery Manager which are in line with the skill set of this post.
